A low-stress approach to dog boarding

Hi, I'm Elise! I’m a certified dog trainer and operate Dig It Dogs with my partner, Andrew. In 2014, we opened our home to dogs in the Halifax area who could benefit from our land and expertise; growing a beautiful community of 3,000+ supporters along the way.

Our mission is to see your dog safe and fulfilled in our space, and to extend this peace of mind to your family.

We average 4 house guests per night who sleep in our home after an enriching day with like-minded pups.

We plan a custom routine to fill your dog’s love-meter during their stay: from walks in the woods and compatible playtime, to their favourite left-ear scritches!

Daytime adventures in acres of private space

Twice a week, we open about 5 spots for pups to come play and explore our land during the day. A thoughtful, small-scale, and nature-infused approach to dog daycare.

A typical day includes walks in the forest, supervised playtime, agility fun, swimming, recall training and top-notch snuggles!
